Haldi Kumkum is a red powder of 100% pure turmeric and lime mixture. It is obtained by drying turmeric and making a powder by adding slaked lime to it, due to which the yellow powder turns red. Kumkum is natural material, made of 95% turmeric and 5% limestone (it is not dangerous as they have less limestone content) We apply kumkum only on the head and use it in worship of God. After opening, store it in an airtight container.
